Customer Service System Chosen for the
Smithsonian National Museum of American History

Florida Power Corporation's information technology has become part of the Smithsonian Institution's permanent research collection of information technology at the National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C.

The St. Petersburg utility's computer system, which is used to be more responsive to customers, was chosen because it "creates strides toward remarkable social improvement in business," said David Allison, museum chairman.
